Glowing Goodness Smoothie

This vibrant purple smoothie combo is full of nutrients to help your skin glow from the inside out!

ingredients

1 frozen banana, sliced
1 cup blueberries
1 cup coconut water
1 heaped tbsp avocado
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 medjool date
¼ cup coconut cream

method

1. In a blender add all of the ingredients (1 frozen banana, 1 cup blueberries, 1 cup coconut water, 1 heaped tbsp avocado, 1 tbsp chia seeds, 1 medjool date and ¼ cup coconut cream).

2. Blend until creamy and all ingredients have blended together. Pour into a glass or smoothie jar.

Full of flavour and bursting with nutrients, this smoothie is created to help your skin glow! The appearance and condition of your skin can be affected by a number of factors, and your diet is one of the best ways to improve its youth and elasticity! Antioxidant-rich foods are a great way to minimise the stress that impacts your skin cells. Blueberries are one example, which are known to promote healing and increase skin quality. Avocado, chia seeds and coconut cream all include healthy fats which also improve the skin. There is a layer of fat cells that lie within the skin, and when this is thick and healthy, this means the skin appears and functions better as well! We’ve also incorporated coconut water which is super hydrating, elevating elasticity and glow.
