Fruity Juicy Lollies

Serves: 8 snack sizes
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Cook Time: 6 hours
Total Time: 6 hours 20 minutes

Homemade lollies. No artificial colours. No artificial flavours. This is a good one if you’re going to be around the house for a day, get a jump on these in the morning and they’ll be ready just in time to beat that afternoon slump.

ingredients

2 punnets strawberries (250g/9oz)
2 pineapples
2 mangoes

method

1. Preheat the oven to 90 degrees celcius/200 degrees fahrenheit and line 2 baking trays with baking paper.

2. Cut the strawberries in half and lay out evenly spaced on a tray. Remove the skin from the mango and pineapple and dice into square shapes, a similar size to the strawberries. Add to the trays.

3. Leave in the oven for 6 hours, checking every couple of hours and flipping them occasionally.

Energy Boost

Not all sugar is evil! The natural occurring sugar found in fruit provides energy to your muscles, brain and nervous system. Fruit contains the sugar called fructose, which can assist in providing energy required for your next work out, or replenish your blood sugar level afterwards!
