Avo Chickpea Smash

This avocado and chickpea combo is a super-simple smash hit for anyone in a rush! In just 5 minutes, whip up this snack and enjoy a top-up of healthy fats, plant protein and complex carbohydrates.

ingredients

2 large (ripe) avocados
2 cups chickpeas
1 & ½ tbsp nutritional yeast
Salt and pepper, to taste

method

1. Using a plate, mash the avocado together with 2 cups chickpeas, 1 & ½ tbsp nutritional yeast and salt and pepper to taste. You can keep it chunky or make it smooth, depending on your preference.

2. Transfer the smashed mixture back into the shell of the avocado, or a small bowl.

Super Snack
