Coffee

Research shows caffeine before a workout improves vigilance, attention and reaction time — particularly useful for early morning sessions. It also temporarily reduces perceived effort, meaning you can push harder for longer before fatigue hits.

🌴
Coconut Oil

Provides MCTs — medium-chain triglycerides that go directly to the liver for energy rather than being stored as fat. MCTs are rapidly available fuel that pairs well with the caffeine for a sustained, jitter-free energy effect.

🌙
Medjool Date

Natural sweetener that also provides potassium and fibre. Its slow-release carbohydrates support sustained energy alongside the caffeine, preventing the blood sugar crash that sometimes follows black coffee.

🥛
Oat Milk

Contains beta-glucan fibre that helps slow the absorption of the date's natural sugars and provides a creamy, well-rounded base. Oat milk also naturally contains some B vitamins for energy metabolism.

Amanda's note

Getting a bit too warm for your hot morning coffee? This blended version gives you everything you love about coffee plus a sustained energy base from the MCTs, date and oat milk. Research consistently shows caffeine improves vigilance, reaction time and endurance performance — so if you train in the morning, this is worth knowing. The coconut oil also boosts good cholesterol levels, which we require for tissue building, bile production and hormone health.
