Muscle May Check In!

We’re officially at the half way point of our Muscle May challenge for 2023! It’s been amazing to see so many of you taking part this year, leave a comment and let me know how you’re going so far, which version of the challenge you’re doing… dumbbell or bodyweight?, let me know what your favourite class has been so far and any feedback you have to make the challenge bigger and better next time.

    Iโ€™m definitely feeling stronger whild doing the dumbell portion of this challenge! Its hard, but so worth it. Iโ€™ve also been making some of the recipes. Currently obsessed with the blacl bean burgers and nachos!!! Thanks so much for all your hard work!

    Ive bern loving it so far and its great to gave the option of the body weight. I do dumbells on evetything but legs as it hurts my knees so im mixing it up! Missed the ab session last week so tagged some on to todats workout. Feeling stronger already ๐Ÿ’ช

    I love doing yoga or pilate between dumbbells days. It helps to stretch and relax the muscle. Im so happy to see all the dumbbell workout videos are coming together! The 2:1 tempo days are hard! Phew

    Look this Muscle May Challenge. Have tried some recipes, and it’s been nice mixing up my weekly dinners. I need to invest in some dumb bells. Thankyou for all your hard work you put into training and planning , very much appreciated.

      Its great to hear you are liking the longer workouts โ˜บ๏ธ Ots hard sometimes because I know alot of people appreciate something a bit shorter to fit into their day, so 30min and under classes have been a priority to film, but its noce to have these longer classes that add the extra challenge! ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผโ™ฅ๏ธ

    Im doing dumbell and so far I love all of it. Super accessible and easy to follow for a first timer with weights. Only struggle is im always sore so need longer recovery but hopefully im just getting stronger!

    This challenge is amazing, exactly what I needed and a perfect follow up to doing 14 days back on track. I feel reset amd stronger! Also enjoying the longer classes, which had also made me feel more committed because I have to be more intentional about making time. Going into week 3 I already see huge progress in muscle definition but also in my posture and more bounce in my step. Ive leveled up my dumbells last week too, and my original heavy set became the light set and the heavy set went up. Also today I was able to do 3-4 full pushups instead of all from the knees! Recovery day sessions are great too. Maybe you could add in some muscle massage stuff like foam roller or tennis ball type stuff? Annieโ€™s recipes have been awesome and all the extra protein suggestions have been super helpful as a veg person here. Thanks for all the hard work you out into developing this program! Its been the best way to start each day!

    I have been loving the structure of the workouts! I do hope for more variety in the dumbbell exercises in the future, so they donโ€™t get too repetitive. ๐Ÿ’ช
