My hips always get so tight and start to hurt during pilates classes, even thpugh I stretch them almost everyday. Im keeping my core tight as directed but it doesn’t help. Is it just me?
Do you mean hip flexors? If so, make sure you are not only activating your core (especially when the legs lengthen away from the body) but also your pelvic floor (see my pelvic floor classes in the yoga area) and also your glutes. The obliques, PF, lower back & glutes all need ti be working to stabilise the pelvis and lessen the work done by the hip flexors. I hope this helps! ♥️
